SEASCAPE INN RESERVATION, CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES
Our policies regarding bookings, cancellations and refunds is predicated on several business factors:
Our Commitment to You
The Seascape Inn does not and will not overbook.Guests can be assured that they will not be told at time of arrival that we overbooked. We do not protect ourselves against no-shows or last minute cancellations by overbooking.
Your room is guaranteed The Seascape Inn will not switch rooms. If youbook a particular type of room (standard with queen bed, standard with twins, etc.) we will not move you to another type room in order to accommodate a guest booking a longer stay.
Specials If you book at our regular rate and we decide after you have booked to run a Special, that Special will be made available to you. When we decide to offer a special we always go through our calendar and contact guests who already have reservations and make them aware of the upcoming specials/discounts.
This does not apply to any Fly Free Offers which are programs offered in conjunction with the Bahamas Out Island Promotion Board. The BOIPB sets the terms and conditions.
Mangrove Cay and the Seascape Inn are not "drop in" locations.Rooms not booked or rooms cancelled within a short time frame will most likely remain unoccupied . Mangrove Cay has only a few small grocery stores and inventory is not guaranteed.As such all hotel and restaurant supplies must be ordered from Nassau one to two weeks in advance for delivery by Freight Boat which runs 3 times per month. This requires us to order/purchase all food and supplies based on advanced reservations. No hidden charges or unexpected add-ons Our rates are our rates. We are required to collect government room tax and as members of the Bahama Out Island Promotion Board an additional resort levy. If are not leaving on the morning flight there will be a day rate/resort usage fee added but there are no additional charges added to your bill. Although tips are always appreciated, they are not automatically added and you will not find extra or hidden charges added to your bill such as:
No daily maid service charge (you are staying at a hotel after all!) No bell man fee No energy surcharge No resort amenity use fee No special rates that are not available to all No "select" menu for dinner included specials No automatic service charge
To secure a reservation a two (2) night pre-payment is required. Deposit may be in the form a credit card - Master Card or Visa or a wire transfer. If you would like to do a wire transfer, please contact us for further details and routing information. When you check out the remainder of your bill can be paid with either Master Card, Visa or Cash. No personal checks.
*HOLIDAY POLICY - CHRISTMAS/NEWS YEARS There is a three (3) night minimum. Three (3) night non-refundable pre-paymentrequired.

*SPECIALS AND DISCOUNTED RATES A two (2) night or (3) night non-refundable pre-payment is required (depending upon the special) unless otherwise specified.
